Helping New Zealand create confident, resilient + independent young girls
Forward Foundation is a New Zealand registered charity. Founded in 2012, the charity's mission is to empower girls through sport & active recreation, helping to create contributing community members who are confident, resilient and independent. We do this by making sport & active recreation a positive experience for all girls, increasing the number of girls participating in sport
and allowing them to use the experience to develop life skills in their own time and unique way.

What's new | Not-So-Sports Club
After a successful pilot, our Not-So-Sports Club is launching full time in 2021. We know traditional sport isn't for everyone, so we've created a club that's fun, free and just for girls. The NSSC offers recreation activities and a chance to make new friends every Wednesday afternoon of the school term for high school aged girls in Canterbury.
Join Us | Cricket March 16th + 17th
The Gillette Venus Cup and the Forward Foundation Shield will be held on the 16th and 17th March (with the 18th being used as the reserve day). As with last year, the Forward Foundation would like to enter a combined school team for those whose school does not have a team and we would love to have you play.
Entries are due by Friday 26th of February so please let us know ASAP if you would like to play by filling out the below registration form.
Also, if you know of other high school students that would like to play, please feel free to pass it on.
